TF
Trauerfragebogen
Short abstract
With the TF, individual grief reactions can be measured according to the Hogan Grief Reaction Checklist (HGRC; Hogan, 1987). The multidimensionality of the mourning process can also be shown. Furthermore, the factor "inner strength/personal growth" can be demonstrated as an integral part of the mourning process. The questionnaire comprises 61 items, which are assigned to the following five subscales: (1) Despair and sense of distance, (2) Hostility and bitterness, (3) Physical reactions, (4) Inner strength/personal growth, (5) Cognitive factor. Reliability: According to Cronbach, values between alpha = .96 were calculated for the total scale, and values between alpha = .81 and alpha = .96 for the subscales. Validity: According to the first findings, this is a valid instrument. The factorial structure of the HGRC could be largely replicated. Norms: The normalization was performed on a group of 314 persons of the normal population in the Federal Republic of Germany aged 18 to 55 years.
