German Personal Sense of Power Scale
Short abstract
The German adaptation GPSPS measures subjective power as a trait or state component and in various relationship types using six items each. Reliability: Internal consistency ranged between α/ω = .78 and α/ω = .89. Validity: Construct validity was demonstrated through factor analysis and correlation calculations with other tests and constructs. Gender- and group-specific differences in the perception of power were observed. Healthy individuals showed higher subjective power than individuals with mental disorders.
